ugh. I know what you mean. It's hard and I have to remind myself that my parents or grandparents didn't have it easy either. But it sure does seem like a whole craptastic situation to always be compromising, scraping the barrel, and just generally struggling to get your expectations out of life. But the quote is right, to carry on we really need an optimistic attitude.
